What’s the chance two people of my inner circle would pass on the same day? My last remaining sister + my best friend’s son. Still trying to wrap my head around the possibility. Life’s just so damn unfair sometimes. Just have to take another deep breath and carry on.
“Year’s end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us.” Hal Borland
“The easier you make your writing look, the more difficult it is. Create characters out of nothing & make them look interesting.” She was one of my favorite authors…in fact, where I got my inspiration.
Here it is in July…WOW! First of
three books out this year is on Amazon,
ebook & paperback. Second is in preorder
stage on Amazon & Black Rose Writing.
Third will be published later on in the year.
Time to get back to work. Marketing is priority.
Gotta get my name & books out there.
Plus, start again on new novel. 🙂
I’m made to wait…but 2018 will be exciting!
Grief can do a number on you. It can open up feelings that have been suppressed for years. With my sister’s passing, those intensities have done exactly that and my writing has ceased for the moment. On the other hand, I know I should take advantage of these scattered emotions and incorporate them into my stories. After all, I promised her at the end I would continue writing. Now…I need to promise myself.
Working on two major projects: one is editing “The Mink Wrap In The Attic,” for the fourth time, and the other is starting a new book. It will definitely be nostalgic in nature, but either a novelette or novel. Depending on how far I go with the plot. With my sister’s health issues this summer, I haven’t been able to get in my writing groove, but I’m hoping to change that in the near future as she improves. After all…Fall is near! My productive season!
